Welcome to blackhistorymonthengland.co.uk, a listing of arts events taking place across the London, South East and West Midland regions during Black History Month 2007. This website has been established by Arts Council England, the development and funding body for the arts in England, and lists a comprehensive range of diverse creative activity across the London, South East and West Midland regions.

Championing diversity is a key priority for Arts Council England, and Black History Month is timely in reminding us of the importance of that commitment, with much of the work being presented during the month by artists and organisations that we fund.

We are proud to support Black History Month and will continue to do so. We warmly congratulate everyone involved.
